Why the motor does not turn: current strength

Measure the maximum current produced by the solar panel and the current required to start the electric motor. Record the results. Draw conclusions.

What are we dealing with here

Physics helps us understand why things work or don't work, because in physics we can measure the physical quantities that matter at the moment.

If the electric motor is not working, but the LED lamp is working, it is worth measuring the maximum voltage and current that the solar panel can generate.

Current measurement

Current is measured with an ammeter using the magnetic effect of the current.

The ammeter is connected in series with the conductor in which the current is to be measured.

Note: It is not possible to connect an ammeter to a circuit without first breaking the circuit.
